Please Note - Club Kit For Club Members

Be aware that in the upcoming road season, all NRCC riders will be encouraged to wear NRCC club kit at our club races. If you have the club kit, please wear it at our local races. The kit is available at Sunrise Cycles at a good price: $50 for the jersey and $89 for bib-knicks.

If you are a new member, could you please invest in the knicks and the jersey as a minimum requirement and compete in races wearing our sponsor and club name.

If you don’t own or wear club kit at upcoming club races you will be asked to wear a plain white jersey and black or plain knicks. You will be asked to turn your non-club jersey inside out so as to reinforce the use of club colours, club name and club sponsor at a club sanctioned event.

It is planned to have NRCC kit available at the racing for use and subsequent purchase at our club races.

The committee doesn’t feel that wearing NRCC kit twice a month at our club races is too difficult a task. There are 28 other days in a month to wear the many and various colours available to cyclists. Feel free to wear club kit as often you like, (except maybe to parties or non-cycling events where you could embarrass yourself).

In appreciation of your cooperation,
NRCC Committee

Go & Grade Yourself

New South Wales cyclists now have to re-enter a grade to race in Queensland. A grade query form is available on the Cycling Queensland website. Fill it in, send it to them and cc a copy to Garry Creighton. The Queensland handicapper is keen to liaise with NSW club handicappers to produce a grade for cyclists. Looks like NSW handicapping is being bypassed.
