Riding With Us
We are so excited to have you join us for a social ride! But before we start rolling - safety is our number one priority.

Safety & Ride Rules
To ride with us, you need to:
-
Have the right equipment – a serviceable bike, helmet, a front and rear light, and a spare tube and tyre levers to change a flat or a tubeless patch kit.
-
Obey the road rules. Find out more about NSW Road Rules for cyclists here.
-
Be familiar with riding in a bunch – if you are new to riding or have limited experience, let the ride leader know and they can support you.
-
Point out hazards – potholes, drain grates, parked cars, opening car doors, road debris.
-
If you are not comfortable riding and pointing out hazards, stay to the back of the bunch.
-
-
The ride will re-group at various points along the route.
-
Review the ride on the Strava or Facebook event and make sure you are familiar with the ride route.
-
When you join us as a club member you will be supported by the group and individual insurance cover you carry as a part of AusCycling, but, ultimately you ride at your own risk.
-
Be courteous to other members of the group and all other road users; pedestrians and drivers included.
-
Enjoy your self. However hard the ride is, the coffee shop is never too far away!
